The Haunting - Part 2

Well, to say that my "haunting" tour was a disappointment is an understatement. As I pulled up to the funeral home that we were supposed to meet at to begin the tour and saw 3 - THREE - LARGE school buses and dozens and dozens of people standing around waiting to get in - I knew there would be no ghost sightings THIS night. But after we all filed in and took our seats and the theme of the Ghost buster Movies - "Who ya gonna call?? GHOST BUSTERS" started to BLARE over the loud speakers and the paranormal tour guides came trotting down the isles shouting "Who wants to see a Ghost" - I all but got up and left right there and then. What kept me from bolting? Brandy, my 20 year old employee who is a bundle of fun.

She was touring with me and so We went and she and I suffered together, in the rain and the cold - standing outside supposedly haunted places and listening to ghost stories before loading back on the buses and going to the next outdoor gathering spot. Maybe for the others on the tour who have not "lived it and breathed it" - it was enjoyable. But to a seasoned spirit seer (that one is for you, Sis!) it was Bah Hum Bug!

I think I'll let my Big Sister close this blog for me...........

Chrissy, you DID it! You put into words what we live with every day.(unexplained powers of being "receptive"). OMG - Do you remember the time when mom & dad were gone.?. We heard these strange sounds and decided to retreat to m&d bedroom. We went in, locked the door, but the strange sounds continued and then the sounds of stepping on the stairs. We locked the door and pushed the tall dresser against the door and literally shook with fear. The "climbing of the stairs" stopped and the door knob rattled! and rattled! and RATTLED! I literally peed my pants!!!!!!!!! We hugged each other, sshhing each other to be quiet and all the while silently crying? We dug out dad's shotgun and had it loaded and pointed at the door. The sounds eventually stopped and we came out - to nothing - nothing....

What I know for sure is that I lived in a haunted house, and that is as real as it gets.

Until next time..............................
