Captains Log #17

Friday, September 23 –   "Uncle Rick" had arrived in Pocatello on Thursday night and we left for the land Friday morning.  We arrived in paradise around 6:30pm. Ricks tent had sailed away in a wind storm! Luckily it braced itself against an evergreen tree and I was able to retrieve it.  We re-set up tent city before dinner – no one slept well, it was too warm!

If there is a will - there is a way!

Two Torrence men - with tools and tape measures.  What more can I say?

I "dubbed" this the "Man Cave" - captains chairs (yes, they are yours Kara), a pink rug (Yes, it is yours Kara) and a designated Beer cooler.  Chef Chris cookin up the grub.  Where, Oh Where, is Chef Cindy!?!?

Saturday, September 24 – It was 80 degrees before 10:00 am!  I know this because I had purchased an outdoor thermometer for the cabin so I would have positive proof to RG just how cold it really did get when I was here alone!  I began setting up the kitchen; sure do miss my chef BS!  Last weekend the ice in the coolers did not melt – today, all the ice I put in our coolers is already melted.  No cold beer last night was a near disaster.  Will have to go get ice and a designated beer cooler.  Bob came by to visit, no surprise there.  Lots of sheathing up today!!
