Captain's log #14

Saturday, August 20, 2011 - Left Pocatello after work.  Didn’t arrive at land until 11:00 p.m., and had to set up the tent with cars lights!  On the way, we saw a UFO!  LARGE triangular object hovering in the sky.  It stayed in one place for several minutes and then just like that – gone!  I think Ron might even be a UFO believer now! (But he will NEVER admit it!)

Sunday, August 21, 2011 – Up around 7:30, unpacked the car and set up the Loo, then cooked our breakfast!  Oh, where is our cook?!  Started to apply the sheathing we had already purchased in Poky and brought with us on the trailer.  One less trip into Great Falls!  Hurray.  Winds came up around 1:00.  We worked until dark.

Monday, August 22 – Up around 7:30 again!  Gracie started her day with the yoga pose Aunt Cindy had shown to her – “Dirty Dog Down”.  After breakfast we started on the sheathing again.  Stopped around 12:30 to pack up and load up car so we could ride the ATV's down to the water spring.  Alas, the Yukon would not start!  So instead of a fun ride to the spring, we used Faith’s tiny battery to jump start the Yukon!  It worked!  Would not be wise to shut off Ruby so we just loaded up the girls and headed back to Poky around 2:30.
