Friday, July 15 – Truss work again! The beginning of the roof sheathing. Young Doctor on roof with nail gun! Yikes! Wind, Wind, Wind!
Saturday, July 16 – IF ONLY!! If only we did not have to make daily runs
into Great
Falls,
at a cost of 3 to 4 hours each time. If
only, it did not rain so much and If only the wind had not been so brutal. If only our supplies had been delivered as
promised. If only. The tearing down and packing up of tent city
was heart breaking. Daniel and Ron
managed to get a few more pieces of roofing on in the morning. The coffee was gone, the coolers empty and
the cook tired of cooking! There was
more work to do and none of us wanted to leave. Especially without the cabin
fully enclosed. We stored supplies in
the “garage” that had been leveled, mostly by Kate. We took down the tents, loaded the trailer
and cars and said our good byes.
Paradise was in our rear view mirrors, but always on
our minds and in our hearts!

I'm beginning to understand why you get so excited everytime you get to go to the cabin. Definately looks like paradise!
