Tuesday, July 5 – Up early, into GF, HD – where in the
hell is our lumber!!! We were able to get
the glue lam and floor joists delivered later that day by an employee with a large
trailer rig and a bad back. "I'll deliver it, but you"ll have to unload it!"
The girls are still acting crazy
and Jackie slipped off just long enough to nip MS in her leg! What is happening here!!! I totally lost my voice from Home Depot stress!! might be a good thing, that.
And that was Home
Depot run #2.

| Always time for ear scratches! |

| We'll dig for buried treasure while we wait for the lumber to arrive! |

Wednesday, July 6 – To clear out all of the old flooring boards from in front of the foundation, Ron and the girls and I went into Cascade to the dump, Then back to the land where we loaded
up yet another trailer full of old lumber and then the girls and I made a second dump run
while Ron, MS and BS waited for our neighbor Steve with his backhoe to come and set
our gluelam in place. Since I was already out with the trailer, after unloading all the stuff at
the dump, the girls and I went
into Great
Falls
and picked up the flooring sheets and siding.
BS and MS started painting the
siding sheets! Then it was time for some relaxation
around the fire ring! Peg was heading out in the morning, not necessarily wanting any more dog bites. Where IS your adventure, Sis?!?! Think of the stories! HUGE black bear, you saved us all, small limp is the sacrifice you made to save the family! WE WERE ALL SO GRATEFUL!!!
And that was Home
Depot run #3.
